VW Gti - Turbo 1.8 2 Questions : Why buy a Gti .... and why buy this one from us ? OK .... first why should you buy a VW Gti. The VW Gti competes for your business with many fine cars such as the EVO Lancer, the Subaru WRX and STi, the Honda Civic Si, and the Chevy Cobalt SS. This is a very tough field of fine cars .... so why buy the VW ? I can answer that because I did buy one and compared them all. Of these four .... the others are faster. The EVO and STi have a hundred more horsepower and all-wheel drive. The Cobalt is a rocket with nearly 100 horsepower more also. To begin with the Mitsubishi and the Subaru are 4 door sedans ..... and the Chevy is a coupe. Only the VW is a two-door hatch. Sporty and capable of hauling gear. But even more important is the feeling of high-end quality that is more like a BMW than a Honda Civic.
