Preview: 2008 Ford Shelby GT Convertible

Last year, Carroll Shelby teamed with Ford to create the Shelby GT coupe - a nonrental version of Hertz's GT-H rental car. This year, the GT coupe is back, and it's been joined by a convertible. Like the coupe, the ragtop comes standard with a 319-hp, 4.6-liter V-8 and a five-speed manual with a Hurst short-throw shifter; a five-speed automatic is optional.
