2007 Infiniti G35 S

The last time we reported on the G35 S, we complained of the overly sensitive throttle that, we learned from the folks at Infiniti, has been desensitized for the 2008 model year. Curious to see if this was indeed the case, we had an Infiniti technician pay a visit to reflash the G's electronics.

Senior editor Ron Kiino took the newly programmed G for a spin and observes: "The Infiniti's throttle finally feels right. Accelerating away from a light-even when just breathing on the gas-no longer induces head-snaps in passengers." In addition to fixing the throttle since our last update, the G's 15,000-mile service was completed. For $285.74, Infiniti of Santa Monica changed the oil, rotated the tires, and performed a multipoint inspection.
