2007 Acura RDX: Based on the RD-X concept vehicle, the production near-lux crossover features aggressive styling, a wide track, bold fender flares, and a unique wood and leather interior. Power is expected to come from an I-4 engine, rumored to be turbocharged with greater than 250 hp. Look for the RDX to go on sale in 2006 as a 2007 model.

2007 Aston Martin DB9: Convertible model launched in U.S.

2007 Aston Martin Vantage: The AMV8 Vantage is a two-seat sports car that retains a classic front-mid-engine/rear-wheel-drive layout and bears a passing resemblance to the DB9 and Vanquish. The design of the cabin has been focused to ensure that everything the driver and passenger touch is of the highest quality. It will be powered by a 4.3-liter, all-alloy V-8 with a ZF six-speed automatic transmission.

2007 Audi allroad: Redesign, based on the A6 avant. Insiders suggest that the allroad will be nudged uplevel in the product range, creating space for the Q7 sport/ute to fall between it and the more conventional A6 Avant.

2007 Audi A3: Choices expand with the addition of a 3.2L/250-hp V-6 model and quattro AWD.

2007 Audi Q7: Developed from the platform shared by the Porsche Cayenne and Volkswagen Touareg, this road-biased sport/activity vehicle will be powered by a 3.2-liter V-6, 4.2-liter V-8, and potentially a turbodiesel V-10. The Q7 will launch Stateside in mid 2006.

2007 Audi R9: Audi has taken the genes of its three-time-LeMans-winning R8, and cooked them into its high-performance LeMans Quattro concept. The stunning concept is powered by a twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V-10 that promises about 600 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. That power is transferred through a sequential-shift gearbox operated via steering wheel paddles, to catapult the two-seater from 0-62 in just 3.7 seconds and to a 155-mph (limited) 214-mph (unlimited) top speed. Word has it that a production model would feature a 4.2-liter V-8, ensuring the Audio could be priced well beneath its Lamborghini platformmate, the Gallardo.
