2007 Toyota Tundra Photos

Should Detroit be worried? If size sells trucks, Toyota has finally got the full-size pickup formula right. Developed and built in Texas, the new 2007 Toyota Tundra revealed at the 2006 Chicago Auto Show is a bit larger in every dimension (it's 10 inches longer than the 2000-06 Tundra) than the Ford F-150 and boasts a 10,000-plus-pound towing capacity. Top engine is a new 5.7-liter i-Force V-8; while Toyota has been mum about power and twist numbers, we hear it's on the order of 330-horsepower plus and 375 pound-feet. There will be two other engine options at launch, and both hybrid gas/electric, and turbodiesel power are expected in the future. Like most Toyotas, it will come in three trim levels; base, SR5 and Limited, and with various body styles, that adds up to more than 30 model variants. Optional features will include a wide-screen backup camera, Bluetooth telephone compatibility and JBL Premium audio system.
