2007 Hyundai Accent Hatchback Photos

Hyundai let it be known it's not about to cede the bottom of the auto sales ladder to newcomers like the Honda Fit and {{{Toyota Yaris}}}. Its third-generation Accent's new twin cam, continuously variable valve timing 1.6-liter four has one horsepower on the Fit and four on the Yaris, for one thing. (Torque for the Hyundai is 106 pound-feet at 6000 rpm.) The three-door 2007 Hyundai Accent is down two doors on those two competitor hatchbacks, though - you have to get the conventional sedan to get four doors, but it boasts more interior space than a Civic or Corolla. The three-door GS and SE models have a higher seating position than the second-generation models they replace, and Hyundai says the car is the only one in its class to offer 16-inch wheels. Side-curtain airbags also are standard.
