Pushing the Unlock button on the key fob illuminates the approach lights mounted on the bottoms of the outside mirrors (except XLS), enhancing security and making it easier to find your way at night. Uplevel models come standard with an illuminated keypad on the door for keyless entry. The keypad doesn't improve the appearance of the Explorer, but it continues to be a popular feature among loyal Ford owners. Next Page
