The Outback has consistently outsold its Legacy sibling in the United States since it was released, and has been in competition with the similar models in this market. To reduce that competition a little bit, the 2008 model year will see the return of the Outback to being sold as a wagon only, and the Legacy will discontinue their line of station wagons. The Outback is a strong seller with great visual appeal and a great design to last it for years to come.
