The Scion xD is a five door crossover that went on sale as a 2008 model. Replacing the diminutive xA, the xD is taller and larger, being based on the 2007 Toyota Yaris.

Movement is provided by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that provides 128 horsepower. Transmission is either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic. As with all Scions, buyers have a wide range to customize the xD: paint color, spoilers, interior lighting, stereo system, etc. Also offered this model year is an optional navigation system.
