The Pontiac G8 is the successor to the Bonneville and the Grand Prix. Based off the General Motor's Australian Holden Commodore, the G8 is smaller than both sedans though has more interior space due to the longer wheelbase and higher roofline.
The G8 comes in a base model and GT. Both are rear-wheel drive. The base model comes equipped with 3.6 liter V-6 engine that produces 256 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque. Standard features include electronic stability control, Onstar, and rear lip spoiler. A sports package adds red insert to the seats and 19-inch tires. Fully equipped, the G8 GT tops under $33,000, making it the least expensive V-8 on the market today.
