The Mitsubishi Raider is a pickup truck manufactured by DaimlerChrysler and was released in 2005 for the 2006 model year in the United States. The truck was based on the Dodge Dakota, and the name was recycled from the Dodge Raider SUV which ceased production after 1990. Sales for this powerful pickup were not very high initially, despite the gap in the Mitsubishi line that the Raider was designed to fill.
