The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution has been sold in the United States since 2003 when it was in Generation VIII out of a total of ten generations. The sports car has four transmission options presently, including 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 5-speed automatic, and a 6-speed twin-clutch gearbox. It is still a popular car in the United States market, and the powerful engine and sleek, sporty design ensures that it sells well.
