The Cadillac CTS (which stands for C Series Touring Sedan) was introduced in the 2003 model year as a replacement for the Cadillac Catera. It was designed in the Cadillac's ?Art and Science? style. This car was the saving grace of the Cadillac brand, having seemingly saved it from extinction by bringing interest back to Cadillac from foreign luxury cars like the Lexus and the Mercedes-Benz brands.
