James Bond's famous ride debuted last year in the movie, "Casino Royale" and, later, at the Pebble Beach Concourse. Replacing the elder Vanquish as the exotic automaker's flagship, the Aston Martin DBS, which is based on the even older DB9, is fitted with its predecessor's V-12 engine. However, horsepower has been increased to 510 while torque remains at the staggering 420 lb-ft. And the already all-aluminum chassis has been further lightened due to generous helpings of carbon fiber. Finally, a six-speed manual transmission replaces the aged manumatic.
