Lotus Overview

A young engineer with a penchant for cars started an engineering firm in England. It was named Lotus Engineering Ltd. and so the legend was started in 1952. This young engineer named Colin Chapman ran this company for 30 years and during that time it developed a reputation for superior suspensions and lightweight racing cars and production cars. This company now well known due to its success in the Formula One racing circles has won the Formula One World Championship seven times.
