Infiniti became known for its Q45, a sedan with four-wheel steering and an active suspension system, the first in a motor vehicle. Despite not specializing in manufacturing SUVs, Infiniti introduced a luxurious mid-size SUV with off-road capabilities in 1997. However, Nissan struggled financially and sales for Infiniti vehicles dropped before the company decided to concentrate on developing a range of powerful sport luxury cars. In 2003, Infiniti unveiled the G35 entry-level luxury car/compact executive car and sales improved. Infiniti defines itself as the ?Japanese BMW? with a range that comprise full-size luxury and mid-size luxury crossover SUVs; compact executive two-door coupes/four-door sedans with four-wheel steering, and mid-size luxury/executive cars. The logo on all Infiniti vehicles reflects Japan's Mount Fuji. The current Nissan headquarters is in Tokyo, Japan."
