Hummer Overview
In 1995, Hummer was established as a division of the GM Company. The structure of the Hummer sports utility vehicles are built like military vehicles commonly referred to as Humvees. Formerly manufactured by the AM General Corporation, the first designs of Hummers were revealed two decades ago. In 1992 Hummers became widely available and GM took over the Hummer brand in 1998.
