Ferrari Overview

During the 1920's, Enzo Ferrari, the man that would later establish the Scuderia Ferrari company was employed at Alfa Romeo. In '29, he broke away from the company and established Scuderia Ferrari in Maranello, Italy. At first, the Scuderia Ferrari company only manufactured racecars, but later the company started making prestigious vehicles for the general public. The company's logo is and remains the prancing horse: a strong, dynamic animal that conveys the power behind the vehicles manufactured by Ferrari.
