IGNITION SWITCHES INSTALLED IN THE INVOLVED VEHICLES MAY HAVE BEEN DISTORTED DURING A CRIMPING OPERATION WHICH RESULTED IN THE INTERNAL PLASTIC CONTACT CARRIER OF THE SWITCH CRACKING.
