Continental Helps Educate and Inspire Innovation During the 2008 SAE World Congress - Auto News from April 14, 2008

DETROIT, April 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Executives and engineers from leading global automotive supplier Continental AG are part of an all-star line-up that is scheduled to speak at the upcoming 2008 SAE World Congress which is taking place April 14-17, at Cobo Center in Detroit. Continental has designed its presentations to help educate and inspire innovation among automotive engineers in the areas of: automotive electronics and the trends enhancing vehicle safety, sustainability and performance. The company also is the proud sponsor of the 2008 Annual SAE Banquet.

Bill Kozyra, Continental's President and CEO of North America, will provide the inaugural address at the new SAE Executive Business Theater on Monday, April 14 at 10:30 a.m. Eastern time.

        present a technical paper:

              with Synergistic Technologies to Achieve Low CO2 Output, on
              Monday, April 14 at 3:00 p.m. in Room M3-31.
     -- Georg Grassl will publish and present a technical paper:

              Challenges and Benefits in a Double Clutch Transmission High
              Volume Project, on Tuesday, April 15 at 2:00 p.m. in Room W2-65.
     -- Martin Griesser PhD; Frank Schreiner and Stefan Stolzl will publish

              on Wednesday, April 16 at 2:30 p.m. in Room D2-08.

              Room D2-08.
     -- Frank Wolloch will present on the topic:
           *  Impact of Tire Design on Vehicle Brake Performance, on Thursday,
              April 17 at 11:00 a.m. in Room O2-35/36.
     -- Michael Brusoe and Zlatko Penzar, with a partner from Lawrence
        Technological University, will publish a technical paper:
           *  Improvement of an LS-DYNA Fuel Delivery Module Crash Simulation
