AKRON, Ohio, Jan. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Just as General Motors claimed a sweep in the honors for the North American Car and Truck of the Year during this week's 2007 North American International Auto Show, the tire engineers at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company also are smiling.
Goodyear tires outfit both the Saturn Aura, which won "Car of the Year," and the Chevrolet Silverado, the honored "Truck of the Year."

The North American Car and Truck of the Year awards are voted by 49 independent journalists from the U.S. and Canada.
