The name Mercedes Benz calls up the image of quality, great design and reliability. Since it's founding in 1926, by the merger of Daimler and Benz, this company has earned a reputation for doing the job right when building a car.
The reputation of both men was already well founded and growing as their work was inspired and very thoughtful
The passing years have done nothing to diminish the reputation of this merger of two good companies. The synergism between the two men brought even more fame and celebrity to them and their company's product the Mercedes Benz
This was true no matter which product was being looked at. Racing cars, road cars, trucks and buses were all quality built and very reliable
The innovative safety features built into their cars enhanced the reputation. In today's very competitive market the Mercedes Benz still holds a place of authority and the desire of the public to own a Merc.
