The Ford Motor Company has its headquarters situated in the United States in Michigan. Globally, the Ford Motor Company has found success " it ranks among the top three competitors in the automotive industry.
Some of the most popular Ford's ever manufactured include the Model A, the Model T, the Falcon, the Mustang, the Escort and the Taurus. Over the years the company has continued to expand since its inception and has purchased rights to other companies including Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda, Jaguar and Volvo. Ford manufactures both automobiles and trucks and has even ventured into the process of manufacturing hybrid vehicles in the effort to make vehicles that are more environmentally friendly.
