The Toyota Highlander Hybrid is delivered with the combination of a V6 gasoline engine and electric motors/generators, which work at low speeds and have self-charging battery packs. The MPG rating for the all wheel drive model is 27 MPG for the city and 31 MPG for the highway. The Highlander Hybrid is not well suited to off road driving, but does do well on the highway. It seats five comfortably and can be expanded to seat seven.
The price difference currently between the hybrid and the standard Highlander is about $5000. The low speed electric power is more that adequate, but the transition between the electric power and the gasoline

The styling of the hybrid is the same as the standard Highlander with four doors and a lift hatch in the rear.
