The Nissan Frontier is a rugged truck that is making its way through a crowded market for trucks in the United States. The Frontier comes available in a crew cab or extended cab depending on your work needs. Both cabs allow you bring four passengers to the work site or on a fishing trip without cramped feet and shoulders. The extended truck bed and the 6,100 pounds of towing capacity that the Frontier allows make this a good choice for contractors and construction workers.
While the Nissan Frontier is a sizable truck, it does not give away performance for size. The Frontier features a 4.0 liter V6 engine that pumps out 261 horsepower with a push of the pedal. You can squeeze every bit of horsepower out of the engine with a five speed or six speed manual transmission. Other drivers may want to use the five speed automatic transmission to avoid shifting and focus on the road.
