The G Class is the Mercedes-Benz SUV line. The G Class is designed to go off-road, and is strong and tough like Hummer or Land Rover SUVs. The 112.2-inch wheelbase has rigid axles with three locking differentials. The G500 has a 5.0-liter V-8 engine producing 292 hp and 336 ft/lbs of torque. The G55 AMG has a supercharged 5.5-liter V-8 engine producing 469 hp and 516 ft/lbs of torque. The standard transmission is a 7-speed automatic with low range, which drives a 4-wheel drive system. A 5-speed automatic is also available.
