The four-door, five-passenger Mercedes Benz S-Class is the brand?s flagship luxury sedan, which received a new body design with slightly larger dimensions and more agile handling in 2007. Available S-Class models include the S550 with 5.5L 32-valve V8 engine; S600 with 5.5L 36-valve bi-turbo V12 engine; S63 AMG with 6.3L DOHC 32-valve V8 engine; and S65 AMG with SOHC 36-valve bi-turbo V12 engine. All are equipped with 7G-TRONIC seven-speed automatic transmission except V12 models who have five-speed automatic transmission for more efficient handling of the massive resultant torque.
