The Aston Martin DB9 is a sporty vehicle that is closely related to the V12 Vanquish: also a product of Aston Martin. The DB9 was first created in an effort to compete with other sleek and sophisticated sports cars like the Porsche 911 and the Ferrari F430 and the Aston Martin DB7 preceded it. The designers of the two-door coupe or convertible are Ian Cullum and Henrik Fisker, and the Aston Martin DB9 is the very first vehicle that was made at the Aston Martin facility in Gaydon, Warwickshire, England.
Offered in two different trims: the Volante convertible or the coupe, the DB9 houses a 6.0 Liter V12 engine as well as a six speed transmission:
