The Jeep CJ was the vehicle that came before the Jeep Wrangler, an SUV, which also happens to be known as the Jeep JK, Jeep TJ, and the Jeep YJ. The Wrangler has been in production since 1987 and is classed as a mini SUV. Today?s Wranglers are made in Toledo, Ohio.
The Wrangler TJ is the most recent model of the Jeep being manufactured. Offered with two body types, the TJ comes as a two door convertible jeep or a two door truck. Two different engine configurations are sold, the original .5 Liter AMC 150 I-4 has been replaced with the 2.4 Liter PowerTech I-4, and the 4.0 Liter AMC I-6. Also available are three different transmissions: the four speed automatic, and the five or six speed manual transmissions are available. The Wrangler JT has a fuel capacity of 19 gallons.
