Nissan Motor Co., upon seeing the revival of its Infiniti luxury brand with the 2004 G35, probably thought it could succeed a second time with the G37.
The Infiniti G37 coupe effectively replaces the G35 coupe trim. The sedan continues as the G35 Sedan. Both vehicles are rear-wheel drive. While the G37's interior gets some minor touchups, the exterior sheetmetal gets some more styling especially around the headlights. But the biggest change, of course, is the engine: the G35's 3.5 liter V-6 is replaced by a 3.7 liter (hence the name) V-6 that pumps 330 horsepower and 270 lb-ft.
