The Honda CR-V is Honda?s entry into the crossover SUV market. First introduced in 1996 the CR-V comes with all wheel drive or front wheel drive.

As of 2007 the Honda CR-V is manufactured in Ohio for the North American market. The initial CR-V engine was a 126 HP engine. The transmission is available as a manual 5-speed or an automatic 4-speed. The engine was upgraded to a 146 HP engine in 1999.
