The Malibu has been an all-purpose model for Chevrolet since its start. There have been police models and fleet models for rental car companies. There was even a model developed for the Iraqis, but it fell through when the Iran Iraq war broke out. To say the least it has had an interesting life as part of the Chevy line-up.
