The BMW 3 Series is the best selling luxury sedan in the United States today. First manufactured in 1975, this lineup is considered an entry level luxury car or a compact executive car. Earlier models included the E21 made from 1975-1983, the E30 manufactured from 1984-1994, the E36 which was sold from 1992-1998, and finally the E46, made from 1999-2005. While the E21 was a 2 door model, the E30 offered both four door and convertible options, as well as a variety of engines and vehicle upgrades. Current models include the E90 sedan, the E91 station wagon, the E92 two door coupe and the 2008 E93 convertible.
